Biokovo Skywalk Tours from Makarska

Split airport is roughly 80 to 87 km from Makarska, a drive of around an hour on the coast road. Makarska has no airport of its own. You can rent a car, take a bus via Split bus station or book a transfer; the catalogue lists transfers in both directions, and the booking page states the exact duration.

The glass platform sits at about 1,228 m inside Biokovo Nature Park, reached by a narrow, winding road of roughly 13 km from the park entrance. The park limits how many vehicles may enter per hour, which is why many visitors book a guided tour with transport: by tuk-tuk, buggy, quad, Land Rover or open car. These tours take 2.5 to 5 hours. If only one of them is on your list, a base closer to it saves hours of driving: Dubrovnik for Dubrovnik, Split or Šibenik for Krka.
